Justin A. Haegele

Justin A. Haegele, PhD, is an associate professor in the Department of Human Movement Sciences. Dr. Haegele received his PhD from The Ohio State University in 2015 in kinesiology with a focus on adapted physical education. His research interests are rooted in the field of adapted physical activity and focus on understanding physical activity behaviors of individuals with disabilities, in particular individuals with visual impairments. His primary research explores the embodied perspectives of those with visual impairments toward their experiences in school-based physical education. He has also conducted several studies examining national trends in health-related behaviors among individuals with disabilities.
