Camp webber for
alaskan youth with visual impairment

In summer 2021, five of our scholars and one faculty worked for the Camp Webber at Alaska. Camp Webber is a one-week overnight educational sports camp for youth with visual impairments. Our scholars served as one-to-one coaches, who experience the camp alongside the athletes with visual impairment. They took part in a variety of different physical activities and sports, including beep baseball, goalball, hiking, stand up paddle boarding, canoeing, tandem biking, and more.
