Candace Brink

Candace Brink, MS, West Virginia Univesity  

Candace Brink is a first-year doctoral student and Graduate Research Assistant working with Dr. Samantha Ross at West Virginia University in the Coaching and Teaching studies program, with a cognate in Adapted Physical Activity. Candace received her bachelor of science in Exercise Sport Science from Oregon State University-Cascades Campus and her master of science in Kinesiology Physical Education Teacher Education from Oregon State University. She has spent the last four years teaching middle school Health and Physical Education and is a PGA golf professional.  Candace’s research interest is morbid obesity in adolescents and resources for weight loss and wellness. After completion of her Ph.D., Candace will pursue a professorship in Physical Education Teacher Education/Adapted Physical Education.
