Fabián Arroyo Rojas

Fabián Arroyo Rojas, The Ohio State University

Fabián is originally from Santiago, Chile where he completed his bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports and Recreation in 2008. He moved to the U.S. in 2010, and lived the last 9 years in Houston, Texas In the gulf coast area, Fabián worked as a fitness instructor for elderly population and as a high school teacher and coach for competitive volleyball. He completed his master’s degree in Education in 2018 from the University of North Texas.  

Fabián’s research interests are focused on: a) understandings of inclusion in Latin America from decolonial perspectives; b) the construction of normalities of individuals with and without disabilities in school physical education and physical education training programs.
