Jamie Linker

Jamie Linker, MS, CAPE, Texas Woman’s University

Jamie Linker is a first-year Ph.D. student in the School of Health Promotion and Kinesiology at Texas Woman’s University. Her current research interest includes preservice and in-service training for special education administrators in the field of adapted physical education (APE). Jamie’s ultimate goal is to utilize training developments to improve knowledge of and access to APE in rural communities. Prior to pursuing her Ph.D., Jamie attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for her Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise and Sport Science and Texas Woman’s University for her Master’s Degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in APE. Upon graduation from her graduate studies, Jamie worked as an APE Specialist and Motor Team Lead in the K-12 setting.
