Ross Jordan
Ross D. Jordan, The Ohio State University
Ross, a DeSoto, Texas native, is a doctoral student and graduate research associate at The Ohio State University, in the Adapted Physical Education program.
During his undergraduate studies at Morehouse College, Ross served the Atlanta community as a member and president of several service-based organizations. After graduating, Ross attended Teachers College, Columbia University to obtain his master’s degree. He coached and worked in several sports clubs and schools, as a recess coach and physical education assistant, in the city of New York.
Ross’ research interests are focused on the intrinsic motivation of students with the presence of physical activity in the classroom space, as well as the creation and construction of kinesthetic learning opportunities for minority students in their educational experiences.
