Wellington De Luna

Wellington De Luna, MS, Georgia State University 

Wellington De Luna, a native from San Juan, Puerto Rico, is a doctoral student and graduate teaching assistant at Georgia State University in the Kinesiology and Health program. He graduated from the University of Puerto Rico with a Bachelor in Physical Education in 2018. Two years later, he earned a Master’s Degree in Special Education & Differentiation, conducting all of his works in Adapted Physical Education and athletes with visual impairments.

He taught middle and high school students physical and health education classes and coached the Puerto Rican Male Goalball team. He has made contributions regarding implementing Paralympic Sport in schools utilizing differentiation instruction in Physical Education settings.

Wellingtons’ line of research is mainly on Paralympic Sport, social/emotional learning concepts, and inclusion models to optimize classroom environments.
